Here we have for your consideration 3 excellent 8\" Thomas porcelain plates, produced in Germany, marked \"Germany U.S. Zone\".  They are also stamped 1082, which I believe is the decor #.  They have a 4 1/2mm band of gold around the rim and a much thinner band on the inner part of the plate.  Very minimalist Bauhaus design.
