Antique Sterling Silver Scottish Thistle and amethyst Necklaces and Earrings come as a lot, The single stone necklace matches as a set with the earrings. The necklace with the bar chain and 4 amethysts looks like the same type but with differences. The set with the earrings has a simple silver chain, the pendant has a silver thistle and single stone. the round cut stones are very clear, very sparkly and there seems to be a deep blue glint to the rich purple. All settings are 1/2\" at the widest, stones all match. The \'bar link\' chain measures 15\" long from thistle end to thistle end, then the 4 dangling stones go down approximately 3\" more to the center. The single stone necklace chain is 15\" and the pendant part is another 1 3/4\", both clasps are marked Sterling, there may be a hallmark on the left side of the thistle above the single stone. can\'t make it out. The little backs on the earrings are marked Sterling as well. All is in very pleasing condition. These are beautiful old antique pieces. Please email with any questions.
