This doll was donated to a woman that has done and still does charity work through the years helping families financially, the doll was donated by a contractor to this woman, as the contractor was preparing to demolish a house he discovered this doll, rescued the doll and then donated to the woman doll is being sold for, amazing woman as she has worked so hard over the years making a difference for others, unfortunately we have no additional information to provide regarding this dolls history as it just stayed stored unprotected for many many many years. as far as we know original owner passed on and from what is understood two sons lived in the house thereafter until the house was sold to this contractor, who indeed will have good Karma attached to him for his rescue and generosity of donating the doll to its current owner, which is also wished all the best for all her charitable work.
We are not doll experts, we actually are having difficulty finding exact details on the internet providing exact age, or any other details, etc.
The seller believes from whatever she was able to find that this particular doll may be one of the earliest dolls, however, is not at all certain, hopefully you have better luck finding history of this particular doll from the markings we tried to show in the photos of this listing, nothing is known about this dolls history.
BEING SOLD IN ITS AS IS CONDITION FOR RESTORATION, REPAIR OR PARTS, we have no idea of the conditions of the inner parts of doll either as it appears the parts are held together by some sort of string roping, the seller is hoping someone can restore or utilize parts. Definitely needs a GOOD OVERALL CLEANING OF ITS PARTS, as you can hopefully notice it is dirty from storage, we don’t know if this is dirt or stained areas, but definitely NEEDS PROPER CLEANING. HAIR SEEMS TO BE IN FRAIL CONDITION as far as I can see, but not an expert.

There is also some sort of cap attached to the underside of hair that is very brittle and has been falling apart each time doll was handled to be photographed so that I would say is not in good condition at all and might possibly come apart in the future as well. There is some sort of burlap looking material stuck on perhaps it was some sort of glue, and hopefully you can notice damaged fingers.
We noticed a second marking, we could not make out what it indicates. Hopefully you can determine not sure which photo is showing the marking. But view all photos perhaps your able to make a better judgement on what it reads.Since this doll is being sold for charity purposes, payment expected by the 3rd day of the ending of this sale.
