I\'m not an expert with this kind of item so will trust you to ask any questions you need to in the pursuit of further detail and clarification. I think these date from the possibly the 1980\'s or so judging by the other things that came from this source but I am of course open to a polite correction.
There are 30 tubes of Winsor & Newton oil colour, I don\'t know what the capacity of each one is but they measure 8cms from top to tail. Apart from 4 tubes, they look largely untouched and all have some give in them so I would assume that the paint is still viable. The colours are as follows.
Series 1. Payne\'s Gray, Charcoal Grey, Prussian Blue, Transparent Gold Ochre, Naples Yellow, Chrome Green, Raw Sienna, Cinnabar Green and Chrome Lemon.Series 2. Permanent Green, Permanent Green Light, Permanent Green Deep, Indigo, Sap Green and Indian Yellow.Series 3. Aureolin, Manganese Blue x 2, Permanent Rose and Cobalt Blue Deep.Series 4. Cadmium Yellow Pale, Cadmium Orange, Cobalt Violet Dark, Cadmium Red Deep, Cadmium Yellow Deep and Cadmium Lemon.Series 5. Cobalt Violet and Rose Madder Genuine.Series 6. Vermillion x 2
There are some stains and stickiness to some of the tubes but this was caused by being stored next to other items and all of these tubes are sound.
