This is my weird yet prized, Cornish game hen, frozen since 1985. Why do I still have it? Why do you need it? Who else do you know that has frozen poultry this old.
Here is it\'s story. My mom bought this from the Stop & Shop in either probably Franklin, Massachusetts in February 1985. Into the chest freezer in the basement it went, and over the years it slowly made it\'s way to the bottom, being covered with more and more frozen foods. In 2001 my mom passed away, and the freezer was cleaned out. This was the oldest thing in there. At 16 years old, it was too old to get rid of... so I moved it into my freezer. It\'s been there ever since, frozen, in the back.
Now she\'s 32 years old, and one of those bizarre collectibles for someone who has everything. Except a 32 year old frozen Cornish game hen.
