40s Vintage WATER LANTZ Cartoon Original Production Animation Cel Art:

This is an original production cel from a 1940s Walter Lantz animated short film, perhaps entitled \"Eenie-Meenie-Minie.\"The cel was measures about 19.5\" x 12\" and three male characters in different colored clothes who together measure 2.5\" x 8.5\". The cel comes from an unsuccessful art program Universal Studios started in order to make some money selling cels from their short films. Disney had great success doing this and the other studios attempted to do the same. This cel is in good condition with light rippling throughout, and a few instances of paint loss. The back of the piece has a sticker noting the image is from a Walter Lantz production, and the front has Walter Lantz\'s signature. This piece also includes a Van Eaton Galleries Certificate of Authenticity.
