2981-2017) 3 foot strand of West Coast faceted cobalt blue, purple, and amber color fur trade era glass beads. This strand originally measured around 36\" in length however the cordage disintegrated and now the beads are loose. This being said, I have separated and counted the various types. Opaque faceted light to medium blue color cobalts number approx 210+ with an average bead measuring 9/32\" in length. The clear faceted Russian cobalt blues count to 55+ with an average bead measuring about 5/16\" in length. The clear faceted purple beads count to approx 100+ beads and average about 1/4\" in length. The amber multi faceted clear beads are overall in poor condition with many having multiple points of damage. These count at approx 40 beads and average length is approx 3/8\". There are 15 round medium cobalt blue color padre beads and these average approx 1/4\" in length and there is 1 clear faceted bead in the mix. I acquired these from a Liska sale out of Ashland, Oregon and no site specific origin was provided, but these were part of a local estate sale, therefore were likely found in this region.
