Up for offer in this sale is a charming 5 1/2\" SNF (Societe Nobel Francaise) celluloid baby doll dressed in a regional French costume of Brittany. The doll is all celluloid, with a 5 piece jointed baby body. She has painted eyes, nice facial coloring and molded airbrush painted hair. This doll wears a full skirted antique wool dress with lace and metallic braid trim, a satin apron and matching bonnet. Underneath are cotton panties. There are three tiny shallow spots at the back of the wool skirt that look like a moth may have nibbled on the fabric but it was not to his liking. They do not go through the skirt and are hard to see but I mention them to provide an accurate description. The stringing is somewhat loose, there is no damage or repair to the celluloid.
The outfit is clean and from a smoke free Environment.
