Camp Douglas, in Chicago, Illinois, was a Union Army prisoner-of-war camp for Confederate soldiers taken prisoner during the Civil War. Based south of the city on the prairie, it was also used as a training and detention camp for Union soldiers.

Now you can get a piece of that Civil War history by purchasing this fantastic photo of five unidentified prisoners of war in Confederate uniforms in front of their barracks at Camp Douglas Prison. Between 1862-1865.
