Offeredfor sale by Caspar’s Place is a set of 6sterling silver butter pats from Mexico.Their marks are very rubbed and hard to read. The butter pats are each marked with anillegible mark with a crown and “DH”; the Mexican eagle mark with “1” forMexico City; “HECHO EN MEXICO;” and “STERLING.”Based upon the presence of the eagle mark, they were made between 1948and 1980.

Thebutter pats are not monogrammed. Theyare in good estate condition, although with the patina of old tarnish and fine scratches to beexpected with age and use. The set’sprice reflects the condition of the individual items. This set of butter pats will make a lovely additionto any silver collection.

Thecombined set weighs approximately 2.72 troy ounces. Each butter pat is roughly 2.75” in diameter.
