Vintage / Antiqueunopened package of \"CORONATION CORD\", Article 711 or 714. 6 yards. Made in Germany.Light blue in color. Original paper wrapper intact. Package measures 7\" in length and appears unopened.Light soil on exposed portions, probably would benefit from cleaning prior to use. For lacemaking, crochet, tatting, embroidery etc. There are a large number of patterns for using coronation cord or rice braid that were published in the late 1800\'s and early 1900\'s. I believe the cord was no longer made in Germanyby thelate 1920\'s. The light blue is a very hard to find color of coronation cord.
