#65 tied by a blue Chicago, ILL DLC and segmented grid. on a very early and rare U.S. Christian CommissionYMCA(Young Men\'s Christian Association Rooms)Corner Card. This is a very early YMCA cover, maybe one of the first. The Christian Commission built a chapel at Camp Douglas and held religious services for both soldiers in training and prisoners. Stationery of this typed was supplied to soldiers and prisoners at Camp Douglas. This is the only U.S. Christian Commission cover that I have seen combined with the YMCAimprint. It is not listed in either the Bischel or Walcott sales. The cover has staining and a tear at top center and back flap.

If Paypal is a problem let me know & we\'ll work something out. I combine lots to save shipping costs, thank you for looking & good luck.

\"The Catalog of Union Civil War Patriotic Covers\"written by Bill Weiss is considered the standard catalogfor these covers, listing and illustrating over 5,000 designs with excellent cross-references to Walcott and Nutmeg and with a handy price guide.\"This is a book I have used myself for many years, and I recommend it to collectors very highly\".More info available by contacting the author (address on request)\".
