Up for sale is this huge lot of (66) yacht Flags

Mary Hartline Donahue, a Super Circus star and her husband Woolworth Donahue, a Woolworth heir were yachting enthusiasts and fixtures of the \"Old Money Set\" in PalmBeach and South Hampton.

These yacht Flags were used by Mary and her husband and there are all sorts of Flags in various conditions & sizes in this lot. Some Flags might have a repair, a stain or tear, wear or tattered by the wind and then some Flags will look barely used and in super nice condition.

The biggest Flags are the American Flags and some of them measure 47\" tall and 72\" wide

The smallest Flags measure around 7\" tall

I\'ve taken lots of group pictures so you can see the various sizes of the Flags in comparison to each other and then took individual pics or small groupings so you can get a better feel for the condition of each Flag

I was searching Google and found this image of Mary Hartline on her yacht called the \"Hartline\"...if you look closely, you will see a small green Flag with a white bird on it that looks identical to the one I have in this sale plus you will see an example of the Mary Hartline Flag she flown, with theM ♥ D on itanda line through it which stands for Mary Hartline Donahue...There are alot of theseM♥D Flags in this lot

Mary was featured on the front cover of the Palm Beach Social Pictorialmagazinein the late 70\'s and that issue shows photographs of her standing on her last and largest yacht, the \"Hartline\"

You are offerding on all 66 yacht Flags shown below...plus...When I was sorting out all the Flags, I found an apron & oven mitt from the Bahamas that I will throw in for FREE

I\'m unsure of the exact age of each Flag but I\'m guessing these are prolly from around the 1970\'s to early 80\'s....Some may possibly be earlier than that but I have no idea when they got into yachting or bought their 1st yacht
