1. A fine very rare and unusual turned treen pipe smokers pricker for removing a dottle(remnant of Tobacco) from inside the hole at the base of a pipe bowl or alternatively- for use as a tooth-pick!The pricker unscrews at halfway point, but the remarkable skill should be focused on the four tiny rings which have been expertly positioned, two on each one of the narrow shanks. Importantly, the entire knopped section is one(complete), so each tiny ring must have been tooled on the two shanks.Remarkable! no doubt the piece once belonged to a wealthy gent!.No damage, Early 18thC.2. A hand carved treen manicicure combining tweezers with a tiny scoop for shaping the nails. No damage early 18thC.3.A rare turned treen snuff spoon with a tamper at the opposite end for compressing small lumps of snuff in the box. No damage. Early 18thC.4. A turned treen crochet hook which is an implement used to make loops in thread or yarn and to interlock them into crochet stiches. No damage late 18thC.5. A small treen marrow scoop.No damage. Early 19thC.6. A turned treen handle for a small intaglio seal or signet(metal impression seal is missing). No damage. Early 19thC.7. A tiny hand carved treen figure of a uniformed sailor wearing a hat(possibly norman cross N.P.O.W).Some damage: right foot missing, right hand. Early 19thC.All seven treen pieces have a good colour and an aged patina. No damage to thread on pricker or seal.
