Here\'s a chance to own 7 very useful, versatile, feet for your vintage slant shank Singer sewing machine!This sale starts with the snap-on shank designed for use on Singer\'s 600 series machines and later, but which also adds ease of use to the earlier Models 401, 403, 500 and 503. It has no Singer name or part number, but fits my 401 just great, and is a time saver when you want to change feet. Once this shank is attached to the machine, all you do to change from one piece to another is to raise the presser bar lifter, then push up on the front of the toe until it releases. To attach the next foot, position it under the shank, lower the lifter til it\'s centered on the bar, then push down on the thumb screw until it snaps into place. I\'ll be including a copy of a page from a Singer manual with these instructions printed out.The different feet featured include a zigzag (general purpose) foot, an overedge foot, and the straight stitch foot, all metal and marked with the Singer name. The half metal and half plastic foot is for zippers or cording applications - it can be attached to the left side or right side of the needle - see the first and last pictures. Finally there are 3 all plastic feet which I\'m not sure of by name, but each has markings and a \"zigzag\" opening. One is probably for satin stitching, since there is a broad channel on the underside. The other 2 may be for narrow braid (??), with 2 narrow channels on the bottom - each of these feet is slightly different, with one having slightly wider channels. Like the shank, the 3 plastic feet and the zipper foot are not marked, but came in a lot with other Singer parts, and work great on my 401. All the pieces are in good to very good used condition, and should give many more years of use. This can be your chance to own these helpful accessories for your beloved vintage slant shank Singer!
