Here is an original lot of 9 casket blankets from the 1950s.
In August of 2015, I took part in a Somerset PA estate sale in which the
owners were former funeral home proprietors.If you are into collecting and displaying funeral home items, then this is perfect.This lot contains 9 casket blankets in very well preserved condition.
The material is very soft velvet and satin.
I was able to save some parts of the poor condition boxes.
The address is the \"Walter Hoffmann Funeral Home\" of Somerset PA.
Also included are various addresses of those who supplied the blankets.The two shipping labels are from 1957.The 7 adult size blankets are all approx 66 x 34 and in colors red, white, beige (2), grey,
pink, light burgundy.There are two baby blankets in pink and blue and are approx. 30 x 18.All the blankets are in very fine condition (like new) and have been well cared for over the years.My photos do not come close to showing off the amazing condition of the beautiful velvet.
