9 Vintage Tiffany Sterling Silver Candy / Nut Dishes dated 1907 - 1956 + pouches:

For your consideration: a vintage set of sterling silver nut or candy dishes made by Tiffany & Co. with (unmatched) storage pouches. The set includes one large dish and eight smaller matching dishes, all in a classically simple ivy leaf design. The combined weight is more than 400 grams of silver. Considering that a new Tiffany silver dish of a size similar to the largest one in this grouping currently retails around $500 or more, this set of 9 pieces is priced to sell.Marks:

Each piece is marked \"Tiffany & Co. Makers\" and \"Sterling.\"

The large dish is marked 23159 with the M date mark indicating it was made between 1947-1956.

All the small dishes are marked 22475. Three of them have the M date mark indicating 1947-1956 (directorship of Louis deBebian Moore), but five of them have the earlier M date mark indicating 1907-1947 (directorship of John C. Moore II).

Condition: All the pieces are in excellent condition with minimal indications of use. There are no monograms and no dents, breaks or splits. The dishes were owned by my great aunt who treasured them and took care of them.

Measurements:

Large dish: 5 7/8\" long and 5 1/4\" wide; approximately 124 grams
Smaller dishes: 3 1/4\" long and 3\" wide; approximately 40 grams each
