This is for a beautifully detailedantique 9ct gold and enamel pigeon medal from 1909. The enamel centre shows a racing pigeon and the gold frame is engraved \'Wyke Fanciers Association 1909\'.The reverse is engraved \'Won by R.H. Pickles\' and the gold has a full set of English goldhallmarks dating it to Birmingham 1909 along with the makers Fattorini of Bradford. It has a simple gold mount with suspension ring for hanging to a chain and it is in excellentcondition. It measures24mm (1\") in diameter.
