Colour frontispiece, 26 colour plates for the letters of the alphabet, an added bonus of six colour plates of cats in different professions and smaller colour illustrations on front end rear endpapers.
Front internal hinge has broken between free front endpaper and frontispiece and book generally a little shaky.
Plate for letter S has some crayon marks on it (see photograph) and three more plates have lesser amounts of crayoning. some scattered foxing or other minor page marks.Original boards are a little rubbed and faded.
