This sale is for a lovely sterling Native American Navajo cuff bracelet with a greenish turquoise in the center surrounded by beautiful silver work with two large arrowheads. This is an earlier Albert Cleveland bracelet and signed \"AC\". Albert is an expert Navajo silversmith and this is from the period when he used heavier gauge sterling silver. The triangular turquoise is soft shades of green with a bit of brown matrix. The turquoise has a sawtooth setting and is framed by twisted sterling wire, four spiral wire designs and two silver balls.
The focal point on the sides of the bracelet are large arrowheads that are 1 1/4 inch long. There are lovely hand stamps in the arrowheads and down the sides of the bracelet to the ends. The bracelet has scalloped edges and lovely hand stamps all along the edges. The silver work on this cuff bracelet is really beautiful and well executed. The bracelet is signed \"AC\" and \"sterling\". The bracelet tested as 95% sterling silver using a GXL Next electronic tester.
I purchased the bracelet about 10 years ago as pre-owned. It is in excellent pre-owned condition with no damage and no repairs. There are minor surface scratches on the turquoise and the silver consistent with being pre-owned. Albert Cleveland is now working with his wife and making jewelry that is signed \"AJC\".
