A GREAT LATE 18TH CENTURY CHIPPENDALE MIRROR WITH ITS ORIGINAL APPLIED HAND CARVED AND PLASTER GILDED AND PLASTER COVERED EAGLE IN NICE OLD SURFACE AND PATINA RETAINING ITS ORIGINAL SILVERED MIRROR AND BACKBOARD. American or England, Circa 1770-1790 in Solid Cut Mahogany with a White Pine back.

Great Scrolled Top and Bottom Crests as well as scrolled ears. It still retains its original hand carved plaster covered and gold gilded applied Eagle as well as its original pine backboard. Most of the original back glue blocks are still intact.

The mirror glass is original. It has foxing throughout.
