DESCRIPTION

A French Louis XV style ormolu mounted rosewood Bureau Plat, surmounted by a gilt-tooled leather writing-surface, the front fitted with three drawers, the back with simulated drawers, each side centered by a satyr mask, on four cabriole legs, each headed by a female mask and terminating in cloven feet. Late 19th century. L 56 in. W 32 in. H 31 in.
