A fine quality hand constructed, heavy gauge, unmarked silver* betel box.

Of octagonal form, the box incorporates moulded decoration to the base rim - corresponding moulded decoration embellishes the cover rim. The cover is centrally decorated with a figurative vignette - the embossed work detailed and worked in very high relief. The vertical faces to the base are finished with complex chased decoration, forming intricate bands surrounding foliate central panels.

Overall width - 3\" (76mm), depth - 2 1/8\" (54mm), height - 2 3/8\" (60mm).

Condition - Very Good. No repairs, no splits or dents.
