FABULOUS VINTAGE BLACK CHINESE SATIN ROBE WITH LARGE SILK EMBROIDERED PEACOCKSThank you for taking the time to view our sale, and thanks to those customers who made our last one a great success. As promised, we\'re following up last July\'s sale with another one this week, featuring over 170 items from our personal collection that we\'ve amassed over the years. A lot of these items we purchased from de-accession sales at museums, in our travels, and from reputable high-end sale houses right here in the US. Hopefully you\'ll see something here that you really like, we always tried to buy the best items with what we could afford to spend at the time.
We will be listing items for two days beginning with about 85 items on Friday, and another 85 on Saturday, so please do take a look.
DESCRIPTION:For your consideration we have this exceptionally well-crafted vintage Chinese silk embroidered robe or jacket with a blue liner, finely embroidered roundels, florals, and auspicious emblems, and beautifully detailed embroidered sleeve bands. This item is in very good vintage condition.
It is 47 5/8\" from arm to arm, and 28 3/8\" tall.Please examine the photos carefully as they are part of the condition description.Contact us with any questions you may have, and please do your due diligence before offerding.
Shipping and Handling:

All of our items have been very carefully and expertly pre-packaged so that they can be shipped very shortly after they\'ve been paid for. Therefore we cannot offer combined shipping. With 170+ items to ship, it is a large job to get all of the packages out in a timely manner, and it would take too long to re-package items for combined shipping. Our apologies for any inconvenience this causes.
A lot of these items are very fragile, and are therefore packed in large boxes. This means that some of the shipping prices may appear high, but we do not benefit from shipping, and if our quote is off by more than five dollars, we will absolutely reimburse the buyer. Full insurance is also included in the quoted price.
We do ship internationally, but some items are too large to be shipped affordably. If an item cannot be shipped internationally, we will note that at the bottom of the description.
For buyers from China: Once an item has been shipped to you, it cannot be returned. The international agreement between the US and China stipulates that it is illegal to export antiques (objects of cultural heritage) out of China to the US. So if you purchase an antique item from us, you cannot return it, period. Your country will cease it at customs, and you will have a very hard time getting it released.
International buyers must wait for our shipping invoice. The calculator will not get it correct, and you may overpay based on its assumptions. # 163

RETURNS:
We will accept returns only when there has been a gross error in the description. We run the sale for 10 days so that every potential buyer/buyer has the opportunity to thoroughly examine and research the items we have listed. It is not excusable to simply change your mind after the sale has ended. We are here to answer any and all questions you may have, so please take advantage of that if you have any doubts. Remember, you\'re not shopping at Walmart. These items have age-related wear, and because we can only list a limited number of photos, you can expect that small imperfections may exist.
If an item qualifies for a return, then the buyer must do so within a week of being notified, and buyerabsolutely pays for return shipping and full insurance.PAYMENT:
Payment has to be made within 3 days of sale end, or the item is automatically offered to the runner-up. Non-paying buyers will be reported, and blocked from participating in our up-coming sales.
