This is an excellent quality limited edition print SIGNED and numbered by the late A. J. Casson called \" Mill Lake \". This piece is from the Platinum Edition. The image size is large at 23 x 27 inches with a clean border of white around the image. It is a signed edition of 700 s/n . A.J. Casson had a remarkably long and prolific career. For over 70 years , he crisscrossed Ontario, recording it\'s landscape, it\'s villages and rural life in a distinctive painting style that won him international recognition and acclaim. The year 1990 marked the 70th anniversary of the first Group of Seven exhibition at the Art Gallery of Toronto ( now the Art Gallery of Ontario ) in May 1920. To commemorate this historical anniversary, Talisman Marque Incorporated published two special \" Platinum Edition \" folio\'s containing lithographic reproductions of paintings by A. J. Casson. This Platinum edition contains this great artist\'s favorite oil and watercolor paintings of the landscape, the towns, the villages and the people that he has known and loved over his long career.
