A Large Elegant Crested Georgian Solid Silver Tea Pot by Charles Fox London 1822...a lovely good sized Georgian Tea Pot of good quality detailing, ..on four raised ball feet to oval base, generous large acanthus flourish solid handle, broad ornate gradoon detailed rim and generous spout, of squarer form to rounded body.. with beautiful crested engraved detailing..dragon? overall of great proportions, a nice good condition throughout, no splits, odd pin ding as for age, stands v.well, clean.. marked: london, george head in oval, lion passant in rectangle and face on in shield, dated letter lower g, 1822 ...all slight rubbed, but certain and on lid handle, base alsomaker CFCharles Fox, mark entered 5 September 1822a high quality piece of silver, nice condition, very collectable / usable and stylish shaped piece
