A Superb & Heavy Antique Victorian Cast Iron Door Knocker-c1870.:

This superb & heavy Antique Victorian Door Knocker dates I believe to around 1870 or thereabouts.It is made of Cast Iron and is very substantial both in weight and size.It stands approximately 10.5 inches high and measures around 5 inches across maximum.The Door Knockerweighs approximately 1.350 kgs and is in original vintage condition.There are some imprinted letters/numbers to the reverse but I cannot make them out.It still retains its original two fixing screws.It would benefit from being repainted and will make a lovely finishing touch to any Door.
