For sale today we have this Outstanding Royal Doulton Lambeth Art Nouveau Vase by Frank Butler. A very flamboyant piece, the vase features a design that is predominantly formed with beadwork borders and bold tubelines. There are inverted hearts to the base, waffled panels that are reminiscent of stylised wings, and then spray like designs to the entire body. Coloured to greens, browns, blues and white. The vase measures 13 1/2 \" tall x 5 \"dia. Stamped with a Royal Doulton Lambeth mark and a \"h\" date shield for 1907. Incised \"FAB 436\" to the body along with assistant mark \"JH\" for Joan Honey.

A striking vase that is presented to the market in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. There is a small factory \"grind\" to the base rim (pics 10 and 11), this looks as though it was to deal with a glaze puddle as the glaze in the area is thicker than other areas.This piece would make a very fine addition to any serious Doulton collection.
