You are looking at a vintage fancy thick pressed glass candy dish/nut bowl with a Sterling silver base. This bowl measures about 2 3/8\" tall with a 5 1/2\" diameter rim and a 4 1/4\" diameter base. It is stamped STERLING along with the markingsA 50 and a symbols which I can not make out. This piece is in good condition with no real flaws that I can see.
