A very fine, rare, old French cello bow made by Nicolas Maline ca. 1845, certified by Isaac Salchow in New York. Nicolas Maline was a great master and one of the most important bow French makers of the period.N. Maline was making some of the best bows for J.B. Vuillaume. His bows are highly esteemed by fine musicians andcollectorsworldwide.
The stick is red brown pernambuco, round, strong with some flexibility, fine balance and excellent quality, powerful sound.
