Wow ~ this early 11 1/2\" inch early papier mache doll is simply incredible! She is circa 1830s-40s and has a papier mache shoulder head and leather body. I can\'t get under her torso clothing, but legs and arms are totally leather so I am assumming that is as well. She is all original and has that fantastic tiny waist silhouette with wide shoulders from that period. The doll has painted facial features with painted blue eyes. Her hair is inserted in the center of her head and forms a loop around each ear. It is thin, but still presents well. Her head underneath the hair is painted black. She has tiny little flowers at both ears, one side has tiny white \"buds\" cascading down. Her dress is very sheer and has great detail. There are a few holes in it, but for the age of this doll, it is incredible! She is truly special and I think you will agree.

PLEASE view pictures carefully as they are part of my description. The items I sell are either antique or vintage, not new. They will not be perfect. Expect some age related wear that does not affect value. Anything that affects the value of an item I will have in the detail of the listing. Import duties, taxes and charges are not included in the item price or shipping charges. These charges are the buyer\'s responsibility. Please check with your country\'s customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to offerding/buying. Please do not ask me to lie on custom forms as to the value of the item.

Shipping Costs:

Shipping costs are figured on actual weight and an approximate guess as to what the insurance will be. If I am over 2.00 of the actual shipping cost, I will refund the difference. I normally offer both priority and parcel post shipping.

Shipping Time:

I ship within 3 days ofreceiving Paypal payment or a MO. Do not fault me for shipping times that are outside of my control.

Returns:

If the item you receivedwas not described accurately, please do let me know. I do my best in my listings to describe the items and supply pictures, but sometimes I may miss something. If item was not as described and this would affect the value of the item, it is returnable for a refund less shipping costs. I do notaccept returns for buyer\'s remorse. Antique dolls are fragile and I prefer to not have them going back and forth in the mail any more than necessary.

Please contact me if you would like to arrange layaway before the sale ends. I am quite flexible in my terms, so let me knowifyou need something other than what is mentioned here. I require 25% down within 1 week of end of sale. This amount is non-refundable if buyer does not follow through on making their payments as planned and no longer wants the doll. 3 equal payments are then due, 1 each 30 days for balance of purchase. If for some reason, you need to delay a payment, please let me know ~ this is generally not a problem, however I do not want to extend layaway\'s to longer than 3 months unless prior arrangements have been made.
