A rare 19th Century Chinese military Pufu silk surcoat with rank badges Qing:

An extremely rare Pufu formal surcoat for a 2nd military rank official. Made from black silk gauze with woven dragon roundels. Two exquisitely executed rank badges (front and back) depicting a lion (2nd military rank) are embroidered directly onto the silk gauze in brick stitch. The surcoat is in excellent condition (I coulddiscern one pin-size hole to one of the bottom edges and one small stain). It dates to the mid to late 19th century.
This is a rare opportunity to own such a well preserved piece belonging to a high ranking Qing military official !!
