This is part of a wonderful collection that I am breaking up. The whole collection contains about 50,000 different stamps, all issued before 1940, housed in a modern reproduction of the classic Scott Brown albums, which has spaces for essentially all stamps ever issued. As far as I can tell, all of the stamps are mounted (mostly with hinges) in their proper spaces. The pages are like new, for the most part and stamps will be shipped on the pages. Because of the wishes of the owner, I am offering some of these at fixed price and others on sale, with starting offers that are higher than my usual starting offers. But, be assured that the collections are well worth the starting offer, and in most cases, substantially more.

I am a collector who purchases old collections (mostly pre-1940) to find stamps for my personal collection, with the remainder offered for sale on . As for most old collections, there will be some stamps that are faulty and I have not looked closely at stamps that were not of interest to my collection. Where stamps are badly damaged I may describe their condition further in the description, or you may be able to see the problem in the images. But, when in doubt, please ask. What you see in the images is what you will receive if you win the sale.

If you win more than one lot (even if not for the same sale closing date), I will be happy to combine shipping costs. If you win one or more lots, I will send an invoice at the end of the sale. Shipping costs will be the estimated cost of mailing through the U. S. postal service. If you want special services, such as tracking or registered mail, please advise and I will send a revised invoice with the added cost of those services.
