A spectacular vintage trade stimulator, the ABT Challenger shooting game. Originally played for a gumball prize. This model was in the Edgewood Drug Store just outside Anderson, IN for many years. Has originally issued key. Tag shows a manufacture date of 10-31-46. .Measures roughly 28\"L x 10\"W x 15\"H.
Good condition for age. Works fairly well. Uncertain if all aspects work according to manufacturer. Occasionally the trigger sticks and has to be pushed forward to cocked position. Sometimes the shooting balls don\'t load. These could probably be fixed if the gun were taken apart and cleaned. Top metal dome piece has heavy paint flake and loss. Outer case shows some wear and graphic loss. Interior of the case is in great condition. All parts appear present with no corrosion noticed. One side has small bits of plastic (from a thin plastic sack) stuck to it. One side of graphics appears darker gold tone than the other. Should clean off with some effort.
