RARE FINE GERMAN BAVARIANPORCELAIN DRESSER TRINKET BOX

Note that this piece could be attributed to Hutschenreuther who made nearly identical pieces, but the mark on the bottom was used by Ackermann & Fritze.
Hand painted porcelain lidded box of rectangular shape.
Red, white and gold gilt color palette.
Stepped lid with bird finial (possibly an eagle)
Floral sprays, leaves, tendrils and berries (probably wine grapes and vines) onlid and base.
Base with decorative columns, Vitruvian scrolls, and “grotesque” portrait masksof horned faces (ofSatyrs or of Bacchus, the god of wine and agriculture in ancient Roman mythology).

Hallmarked in blue under the glaze with what I believe is a spurious Royal Vienna-style Bindenschild mark meant to represent the royal shield (commonly describedas a beehive in the upside down position), which many people mistake for RoyalVienna. It could be Royal Vienna but I doubt it. Do your own research please.

Dates most likely to early 20thcentury.
Excellent condition with no chips cracks or crazing. Some minor rubbing of gilt at edges. Felt pads affixed to feet.
Measurements are approximately: 5 ½” lonf x 3 ½” deep x 5” tall.
ALL SALES FINAL. NO RETURNS. SHIPPING TO U.S. ADDRESSES ONLY.
