Offered at sale from a Very Prominent Florida Estate, is this Important LARGE SIGNED ACKERMANN & FRITZE PORCELAIN DRESDEN LACE 6 FIGURE GROUP TOASTING BANQUET FIGURINE . A Very Complex and Detailed Piece of Art , representing arguably one of the Finest Porcelain Lace Figurines made by the ACKERMANN & FRITZE Company in Germany. The Company Made Figurines from 1908-1951. Given what my Consignor Family has told me, they believe this has been in their family since the Mid 1930\'s , possibly earlier. It was always Highly prized by their Grandmother. When One Very Small Section of Pink Lace was damaged many years ago, ( As happens to 98% of All Porcelain Lace Figurines ) their Grandmother paid hundreds of dollars to have it professionally Restored. ( See Condition Details Below ). This Monumental Piece MEASURES 9 3/4\" Tall. It is 10\" Deep and 14\" in Width. It is SIGNED on the Back Side Floor with the BLUE CROWN AF Mark of \" ACKERMANN & FRITZE \". The Detailing of the Gold Three Dimensional Flatware, Plates, and Food on the Table Setting is Spectacular !! See the Listing Photos to appreciate the detailing of Hair and Facial Features. An Absolutely Gorgeous and Monumental Piece of Dresden Lace Art for Any Advanced Collection !! CONDITION: EXCELLENT VINTAGE DRESDEN LACE CONDITION: Overall, given the size of this complex group figure, there is Less than Usual Porcelain Lace Lost. MIDDLE SEATED GIRL: Small Lace Fold at Waist Missing; SEATED GENT FAR RIGHT: Very Small Piece of One Lace Cuff Missing; ONE PROFESSIONAL OLD LACE REPAIR: Given the importance of this piece, the Grandmother of my Client had a 2\" x 3/4: section of Pink Lace REPLACED on the FAR LEFT LADY. The Family states that this repaired Lace Section Has Very Slightly Darkened in Color over the past 25-30 years and could very easily be lightened up by paint to more perfectly match the rest of the gown. ( See Last 3 LISTING PHOTOS) The ONLY Other Slight Condition Flaw is a Very Light Partial Hairline Crack Only Visible and Present on the Underside Bottom of the piece. ( Very Common with these Larger Older Dresden Figurines)
