Lot of 2 vintage AMT model kits with original instructions up for sale. These 1/25 scale cars were manufactured in the late 1980\'s (somewhere around 86-87). The first one is a 1940 Ford gasser that I built in 1996. I put alot of work into it and it turned out nice, except for some reason when I glued the window\'s in, the roof on the passenger side melted a little bit (see first picture). This car has a 426 blown Hemi from I think a Johan dodge kit. I also filled in the dash smooth and fabricated a drive shaft tunnel with a shifter from the same kit as the Hemi is from. 99% of this car was air brushed. The second car is a 1951 chevy drag car I built in 1987. It turned out ok, but when I built it, I slipped with the Exacto knife when cutting the wheel wells out, and put a slice in the passenger side wheel well. I was going to dissasemble it, strip the paint and restore it, but I have too many projects already, and i,m trying to thin out my collection. sale is , thanks for looking and happy offerding.
