AN EXTREMELY FINE EARLY 18TH CENTURY WROUGHT IRON RUSHLIGHT HOLDER WITH AN RARE IRON FINIAL COUNTERWEIGHT ARM ENDING IN ITS ORIGINAL NATIVE AMERICAN CHESTNUT WOODEN BASE. American, 18TH Century IN THE BEST SMALL SIZE AND GREAT GRUNGY OLD SURFACE.

GREAT SMALL SIZE RUSHLIGHT.

It has the best hot twisted shaft ending with well formed jaws. The hot twisted design continues to the counterweight arm as well.

The American Chestnut base is in original grungy surface with the best patina.

This rush holder is only 8\" tall, the base is 4\" by 3 1/2\".

ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL CONDITION WITH THE BEST OLD SURFACE. We do not find these pieces in such condition and surface.
