Up for sale is a wonderful, rare, vintage ANRI hand carved shrine/chapel of the Blessed Virgin Mary and Infant Jesus entitled, \"Madonna of the Grapes Chapel\". The chapel is in nice vintage condition, especially for being 50-60 years old. I believe it to be more rare than the more familiar ANRI bullet chapels from the 1950s.
The chapel is approximately 7.5\" tall and 4\" wide at the base. There is a small oval ANRI foil sticker on the base which dates it between 1954-1967.
The chapel is free from damage, but please note the gold gilding has darkened over the years. It has a beautiful vintage patina and is a wonderful representation of the Blessed Mother and the Christ child. (Please note that the first photo was taken with a flash to show details. The true color of the chapel is best represented by photos #2 and #3).
