From a Tucson estate some years ago is this visually compelling antique pair of 14K solid yellow gold and black jet jeweler crafted dangle earrings, embellished with diamond accents and without question attractive enough for any occasion. The duo features a gold framed diamond posts (these now with jeweler crafted post wires), and faceted jet tear drops topped with a round jet bead as dangles. There are no marks for gold fineness as typical for jeweler bench made, so I will guarantee they are at least 14K. Vintage yes, the design is nonetheless modern and timeless - this pair will draw attention wherever worn. Weight is very good for the form at about 3.4 total grams on my portable digital scale. Condition is quite good but not absolutely perfect, with an aura of time to the gold and just typical and expected signs they served the purpose. The jet components are well preserved, though the drops show unobtrusive minor nicking to the pointed tips (of the tiny sort seen with a 10X loop). The substantial jeweler fabricated post wires are good to go; being of just slightly oversize gold stock, they will require the use of silicone backs. A look at the pics should give a good idea of appearance. Size is about 1 5/16 in. on the dangle, with the jet bead and drop portion about 1 1/32 in. of that. One drop is about 9/32 in. across and the other about 5/16 in., the exceedingly slight difference accounted for by the hand making. Yes, they will be noticed. If you have an eye for what is not mundane and prefer antique drama, or simply wish this single immediate improvement to the ambiance of any day you choose to wear them, these beauties will have great meaning for you.
