Here is a genuine Andrew Jackson issued Land Grant being sold for a local estate. Dated 1831 it concerns the sale of land in the Fort Wayne area and I believe it was printed on velum. Here is this genuine antique Andrew Jackson Land Grant. The simple black painted wooden frame measures about 16 - 1/8 inches wide by about 10 - 1/2 inches high. The item itself I believe is velum, but I am not sure. To my eye it looks like a cloth and not paper. It is dated 1831 and concerns the sale of land in the greater Fort Wayne, Indiana area. This is a genuine antique. Here is a close up look at the Andrew Jackson name which as President of the US and was the individual authorized to sell public land. Here is a look at the President\'s Seal. The seal and the hand written part are all a little faded, but still readable. This is a genuine antique and a great historic piece. I did not see any serious issues. The estate has priced it to sell. Overall, I would say that it\'s in very good to excellent condition considering it\'s age.
