Very rare antique Royal Doulton pattern. Hand colored. Depicts Koongshee, the daughter of a Mandarin and her love Chang. The father is against the two lovers. They are represented by two birds who fly away together. This is the Willow story. The set was made in 1910. 3 piece demitasse teacup, saucer, and plate. Gold trimmed edges. No nicks, chips, or cracks on any of the 3 pieces. No scratches or repairs. No discoloration. No wear to the gold. Plate measures approximately 6 1/4\" in diameter. Saucer measures approximately 4 1/2\" in diameter. Cup measures approximately 2 1/4\" in height.
