Exquisite antique 19th Century Victorian natural seed pearl dangle brooch mounted in solid 14K rosy colored gold. Brooch measures approximately 2 1/4\" wide Z 1 3/4\" long. All its lustrous natural seed pearls and larger natural pearls have been intricately hand wired or sewn using fine horse hair onto its hand carved natural Mother or Pearl backing. Amazingly all the lustrous seed pearls and larger pearls are present, in lovely condition and original. The brooch\'s hand worked hinge, C-Clasp and actual pin all tested to solid 14K gold. I am also listing on at this time a magnificent Victorian natural seed pearl and 14K gold necklace from the same estate as this great old brooch. It is also in wonderful original condition. I was told by the heirs of this estate that neither their mother nor grandmother had ever worn either piece and had always kept them in a dresser box because they knew how delicate the brooch and necklace were.
