Late 19th century
This quilt has a very light cream background with flowers of turkey red and rich cheddar
It is hand quilted at 6 stitches per inch and has large quilted diamond grid work.
It is expertly hand appliqued.
It is hand bound.
It measures 69\" x 68\"
This quilt is in good condition. There are a couple tiny surface holes and a couple of tiny splits in the white ground (See photos.) There are also a couple very light spots ranging from about lentil size to a little bigger than silver dollar size and some very light age tanning, all of which was too light to photograph.
Freshly hand laundered.
A beautiful, early quilt to add to your cheddar and red collection!
