GERMANY EARLY 20TH CENTURY

Up for a offer is this beautiful piece, a highly collectable Art-Deco porcelain half-doll-pin-cushion-figurine made in Germany at the beginning of the 20th Century possibly by Fasold & Stauch. The naked 1920s porcelain half doll has a luminous off-white glossy finish. Featuring the “Commedia dell’Arte” character of Columbine; she undressed in the typical “calot noir” ( black-hat ) is holding her hands in a pose ready to act or sing a song. An enchanting piece measuring approx. 5 in. ( 12.7 cm. ) in height. In very good antique condition, no issues to report. Unmarked, possibly by the German firm of Fasold & Stauch. A nice Art Deco period piece. A true joy to behold. Manufactured in Germany early 20th Century, circa 1920s, during the Art-Deco era.
