What a pretty item this is and there is no doubt about it\'s age or authenticity as it is clearly stamped with a Birmingham hallmark for the year of manufacture - 1902.

This is so of the period and really shows how talented our own craftsmen were. The manufacurer is Smith & Bartlam of Birmingham - not a well known maker but all the same a very very pretty piece of work.

The subject matter is a pretty young girl with flowing hair filled with ears of corn and poppies.

It is made from solid silver gilded with gold (gold on silver) and is in fantastic condition with no loss to the gilding whatsoever.

Size is: 1\" x 1 1/4\" (2.5cm x 3cm)
