Antique c1920\'s R.Blackinton & Co. sterling silver topped heavy ribbed glass honey jar featuring a figural bee on top. The jar comes with an Alvin sterling silver serving ladle which is the right size for this jar. The jar measures 4\" height to the top of bee x 3\" diameter. The heavy, ribbed glass is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. Very clean. The lid is also in very nice condition with no dings and only some light surface scratches from use. The bee is perfect. The ladle shows an L monogram. The lid is stamped on the inside sterling x856 along with the Blackinton makers mark. Nice old jar that would look great on any table.
