This is an original HUBLEY cast iron black and white Boston Terrier looking over the right shoulder. It stands at 10 1/2 inches high and is 9 inches long. HUBLEY produced their cast iron products in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. Indications that prove that it is a HUBLEY are as follows....It is put together with 2 flat head screws (1 on the neck and 1 on the flank). On the under-side where the dog is joined together, it is filed down and smooth. The ribs are pronounced which is also proof of its origin. The paint is also the original paint. This piece of American art is in fine condition considering its age. Thank you for looking!
