I think this is cast iron with a brass finish, original to the piece, metal is magnetic. Top of frame where desk stand hinges is broken (see small piece), it has been wired and used like this for over 30 years - works fine. I will include glass for this frame - not pictured . Returns accepted if I make a mistake.
