This is a very old brass or tin box measuring 4 inches long and 2 3/4 inches wide and 2 in. deep. It has a small paper label on it printed in old looking script: Opium Box from China. It has a removable lid and the one seam is soldered. There are Chinese characters embossed/ stamped on the top and bottom.
